I really enjoyed attending to Ebay Queen Ms. Eireen Diokno-Bernardo's PAYPAL 101 Live E-commerce Workshop yesterday, September 17, 2011 at UnionBank Plaza. The venue is great, especially with the nice tables and chairs, overflowing coffee, snacks, and candies.
Ms. Eireen, owner of http://www.sendmaillogistic.com is an awesome presenter and trainer. Ms. Eireen's style is so informative, lively and jolly. She truly connects to her audience and looks after their welfare.

I learned more on the role of PayPal in the bigger picture of E-commerce.
PayPal enables us to pay through the Internet, send money, and accept payments without revealing your financial information, such as bank account and credit card information.
Whenever we want to make an online payment, we don't have to pull out our credit card or type our billing information every time.
I also learned that here in the Philippines, we can save a lot of valuable time, service charges, and effort if we would choose to apply for a UnionBank EON Visa Card and link it to our PayPal account.

The online seller gets paid first before delivering services or goods (both tangible and intangible/digital products). The good news is PayPal makes it easier for us, seller and buyers, to participate in today's E-commerce.
There are three (3) kinds of PayPal account:

- Premier
- Merchant
As of now, I have a Premier account, and I am already imagining the possibilities of achieving a Merchant account in just a few months.
